Benetton has designs on Tehran

Benetton has made a name for itself by being controversial. Its clothes might be mind-numbingly dull, but its advertising campaigns were unforgettably shocking in the early 90s. And now the fashion brand has found a new way to attract attention – although it can’t possibly have predicted quite how controversial an international design competition in Tehran would actually be.
