Libeskind goes prefab and Frank Lloyd Wright’s equal opportunities approach
June 16th, 2009It seems that Frank Lloyd Wright, a man whose relationships with women in his private life are infamously scandalous, was actually an early leader in employing female architects. So no more excuses from the profession please; if it could be done then then there’s no reason why women shouldn’t be as employable as men now.
And, in a move apparently “unprecedented around the world”, Libeskind has branched out into prefab design. Although to get one of his angular homes you’ll need to shell out $2 million. So much for prefab being the more affordable option…
